Gilbert’s townhouse is the ideal place to stay in Cobh. There are four en suite (shower only) bedrooms above the restaurant . Tastefully decorated to suit the age of the building they are designed to give that special feeling of relaxation and luxury. Each has unique character with furniture hand made by skilled craftsmen  and carefully chosen lighting from Bauhaus and Philippe Starck. Natural organic fabrics furnish the rooms and cosy Irish woollen blankets add that touch of home comfort to the beds. Original work by local artists provide an unusual feature throughout the building.

There are four double rooms (one has a four poster bed) and two can be adapted to provide a double or twin beds. There are facilities for making tea and coffee in all rooms. The self contained ‘penthouse’ suite at the top of the building is attractively tucked in under the eaves and has a distinct classic modern feel. It consists of a double bedroom with a spacious sitting room with comfortable sofas and 42” flat screen TV. An open plan kitchen with small bar area and dining area to cater for six people makes  this  the ideal spot to hideaway for the weekend, cook  a  leisurely breakfast, entertain your friends to lunch and then treat yourself to a gourmet dinner in the restaurant.

Seasonal prices range  from €35 per person sharing (€10 single supplement) room only.

Continental Breakfast is available from 8am to 9am and full Breakfast from 9am.
